About Your Piano Coach
I'm Kim Demery, Your Piano Coach. I bring years of experience teaching music and piano to students from elementary through high school, from beginning musicians to more advanced players.
My teaching approach combines strong musical instruction with patience, encouragement, and creativity.
Because no two students learn exactly the same way, I adapt my teaching to the individual student rather than expecting every student to adapt to the same method.
I want students to leave their lessons feeling successful, challenged, and excited about what they can accomplish next.

45-Minute Private Lessons
One-on-one instruction in a private studio.
Personalized Instruction
Lessons are designed around each student's age, experience, learning style, musical interests, and goals.
Regular Weekly Schedule
Students have a reserved weekly lesson time, with tuition prepaid monthly.

Consultation & Discovery Lesson
$65
One 45-minute lesson
We'll meet, play some music, discuss interests and goals, and determine the best starting point.
Enroll in weekly lessons and the full $65 will be credited toward your first month's tuition.

Monthly Private Lessons
$240
Four 45-minute lessons each month
Prepaid monthly tuition reserves the student's regular weekly lesson time.
First month after Discovery Lesson credit: $175
Lesson Policies
Cancellations & Makeups
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, including missed lessons and no-shows, are forfeited and cannot be refunded, credited, or rescheduled. Timely makeup requests are subject to availability.
Coach Cancellations
If Your Piano Coach must cancel a lesson, it will be rescheduled or credited toward the following month.
Five-Week Months
Monthly tuition includes four lessons. A fifth week may be used for makeup lessons, a special workshop, or a scheduled studio break.
Late Arrivals
Students arriving late receive the remaining portion of their reserved lesson time. Lessons still end at the scheduled time.
Ending Enrollment
Please provide at least 14 days' notice before the next monthly tuition payment when ending lessons.
Payments & Refunds
Monthly tuition is nonrefundable once the billing period begins. A regular lesson time cannot be guaranteed if payment is late or unsuccessful.
